Thai Woman Accidentally Dyes Cat Yellow after using Turmeric to Treat Infection

Shookt! Pickachu, is that you? Have you ever seen a real-life Pikachu? Well, if you haven’t, we should warn you and we wouldn’t recommend doing this to your pets without the consultation of experts.

Netizens are raving about a cat that resembles one of the most famous pocket monsters out there.

Clearly this is a yellow cat and the iconic Pokémon is technically a rat. This Cat is not a rare breed or an exotic animal in captivity, and it wasn’t dyed yellow for fun. She is simply covered in turmeric.

As we know, turmeric is a spice commonly used in curries and sauces. Aside from being useful in the kitchen, the plant has many other health benefits.

Turmeric has been used in India for thousands of years as a medicinal herb for its various medicinal properties.

One of the most common applications of turmeric is as a treatment to conditions involving inflammation and pain. This is due to the fact that turmeric contains chemical curcumin, which decreases swelling. And this leads us to the Pikachu Cat.

Facebook user and cat enthusiast Thammapa Supamas from Thailand used turmeric as a home remedy to cure her kitty’s fungal infection.

Thammapa, applied turmeric paste all over her cat and, as planned, the wound healed. The only side effect was that the once white cat turned yellow, but don’t worry the animal’s fur will soon revert to its original color.

She also thought that she looked like Pikachu, so she photoshopped a few features onto her photos. She posted these photos and it went viral on socmed.
